Entertainment… It’s satisfying to get home from a long day, plop down on the couch, and flip on the tube isn’t it? I think it definitely has it’s time and place. But what is entertainment doing to your creativity? Not that long ago, entertainment was a bit of a luxury and people had to entertain themselves.
The hardest part of entertainment now is deciding what to watch. We don’t have to go see a show, or even wait for our favorite show on TV. Everything is on-demand. It’s a modern marvel that ensures you never have to be alone with yourself or come up with something to do to entertain yourself.
This episode I offer my thoughts on entertainment and how it’s effecting our ability to be creative.
